Lincoln is trying hard to reinvent itself. Like Cadillac, who wanted to attract someone besides retirees looking for a boat to float down the highway, Ford’s luxury division seeks to live it’s new slogan: “Reach Higher”.
Gone are the days of the Continental. And now everything in the Lincoln lineup starts with MK. Formerly the Zephyr (until the MK trend), this car plants itself square in the sights and price-range of the entry level luxury sedan class. A world full of players like BMW, Lexus, and Infiniti.
The guys strap into the MKZ and see if Lincoln’s reach has exceeded their grasp.
